15 September 2009 - Great interest in Geistlich Pharma AG at its Open Door Day
On 12.09.09, to mark the inauguration of the new office building Z5, Geistlich Pharma AG opened up to the public its new premises which were not yet occupied. This offer was gladly taken up by 400 curious visitors. A total of more than 1000 people came to the Open Door Day "D4 lives and laughs" last Saturday to get a look at the newly opened building in the D4 Business Center office complex.
The three business units of Geistlich Pharma AG (Biomaterials, Surgery and Medical) presented their activities and medical products. The Geistlich Pharma staff demonstrated which treatments their products are used for and answered the guests' numerous questions. Visitors were able to take a break for a reviving drink in the cafeteria or on the spacious terrace. A lot of people tried their luck and took part in the Geistlich Pharma competition where they could win a revitalising weekend for two. The winners have since been drawn and are being informed.
Over the weekend of 18 to 20 September, Geistlich Pharma AG is moving into its new premises in building Z5 as the last of the three main tenants. Until now, the regeneration experts have been located on three floors in another building at the D4 Business Center. From Monday all 70 staff at the Root site will be brought together on a single floor in the new building Z5. Another 150 employees work at the Wolhusen site, including the research and development departments.
In recent years Geistlich Pharma AG has grown continuously and has steadily invested in the central Swiss locations of Root and Wolhusen. The family-owned company relies on its highly qualified and specialised staff, whose number has steadily grown in the past. The move into the new premises is a sign of its growth and commitment to Central Switzerland as a location. |
